What You’ll Do:
- Assist in filling and dispensing prescriptions.
- Answer patient questions about medication status in a friendly, professional manner.
- Collaborate with pharmacists to manage inventory, maintain compliance, and ensure accuracy in prescription fulfillment.
- Support the outpatient pharmacy’s services, including medication synchronization, copay coupon support, central fill collaboration, FLAVORx, Meds to Beds, etc.
What We’re Looking For:
Experience: High school graduate or equivalent GED required. At least 1 year of experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or outpatient setting is preferred. If not, successful completion inIndiana Board of Pharmacy approved Pharmacy Technician Training program,within one year of employment is required. National certification not required.
Licensure/Certification: Must have or be eligible for an Indiana Board of Pharmacy Tech in Training license or a current State Board of Indiana license as a Pharmacy Technician or Intern. We love seeing CPhTcertification but are open to supporting certification for the right candidate.
