As Strategy & Operations Manager, your purpose is to turn Pas Normal Studios’ strategic priorities into execution that holds. You work alongside the COO across merchandising, commercial and cross-functional projects - structuring the problem, building the case, and staying with it until it runs in the business. You will work cross-functionally to ensure that our strategy and business plan get translated to seasonal execution. The role is based out of our HQ in Copenhagen.
What you’ll do
- Drive strategic planning and operations across the company, with responsibility for the seasonal go-to-market milestones.
- Manage performance reporting and business KPIs: the dashboards and reporting cadence behind our business reviews, covering sell-through, inventory health, margin and progress against plan, so decisions are made on data rather than impressions.
- In addition, you will work on two or three live projects supporting the Leadership Team on organizational priorities. Examples could be:
- Develop business cases for the decisions ahead: a new market or store, a major investment, or a change to how a channel is served.
- Implement, optimize or re-think a key business process
- Support strategy development for e.g. channel strategy or product strategy
What you bring
You bring a structured problem-solving toolbox (qualitative and quantitative) and project management skills. Most importantly, you have a demonstrable track record of finishing what you start. The role succeeds based on value implemented; not based on analytical output.
- A degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Finance or related field.
- 3-6 years of experience, typically 2-4 years in management consulting, strategy and operations or business operations, plus a step into industry or a scale-up.
- The ability to decompose an ambiguous question, build a recommendation, and defend it when it is argued with.
- Confidence owning a commercial model and working directly in the data: sell-through, rate of sale and margin.
- Communication that delivers the message clearly to all relevant stakeholders - including the ability to put a complex problem in front of a leadership team in a way that produces a decision rather than a discussion.
- Interest in AI tools - curious and practical.
- A collaborative mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, creative scale-up environment. An excellent command of English is a must.
