The Program will provide the overallprogram support to the program team. S/he will coordinate workshops; meetingstravel and logistics. S/he will also be reviewing and finalizingproject documents and reports and other administrative tasks as needed for REACHMalaria Project.
The Logistics and Operations Support Officer plans, coordinates, and supportslogisticsand operationalactivities to ensure effective delivery of organizational programs and services. The role overseestransportation, inventory, trainingcoordination, procurement support, and administrative operations while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics Management
Work closely with PATH Ethiopia logistic officer on coordinate transportation arrangements for staff, goods, and equipment
Work closely with the PATH logisticsofficer and drivers to processfuel advance requests and liquidations,ensuring properlog sheets, fuel receipts,and vehicle reportsare maintained.
Monitor vehicle utilization, maintenance schedules, and fuel consumption.
Track and update project stock records and asset registers.
Ensure timelydelivery and distribution of project supplies.
Operations Support
Assistin planning and coordinating operational activities.
Support office administration and field implementation sites.
Coordinate meetings, workshops, and field travel arrangements.
Ensure compliance with operational policies and procedures.
Maintain accurateoperational documentation and records.
Procurement Support
Assistin sourcing suppliers and obtaining quotations.
Prepare purchase requests and purchaseorders.
Follow up with vendors to ensure timelydelivery of goods and services.
Maintain complete procurement files and supporting documents.
Compile training payment documents, including supportletters, attendance sheets, and registration forms.
Review purchase requisitions for goods and services, coordinate processing, and follow up on delivery.
Reporting and Documentation
Prepare periodic logisticsand operations reports.
Maintain inventory, asset, and vehicle management records.
Monitor logisticsperformance indicators and recommend improvements.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a relatedfield.
Minimum5years of experience in logistics, procurement, operations, or supply chain management.
Proficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
