UX/UI Designer - Figma, Product Design & User Experience | Remote

Position Type: Full-Time, Remote

Working Hours: U.S. Client Business Hours

About the Role

At Pavago, one of our clients is hiring a UX/UI Designer to create intuitive, visually polished, and high-performing digital experiences across web and mobile products.

This is more than a visual design role. You’ll own the design process from user research and UX strategy through wireframing, prototyping, high-fidelity UI design, design systems, and developer handoff.

You’ll work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, QA, and leadership to understand user problems and translate them into digital experiences that are easy to use, scalable, accessible, and aligned with business objectives.

If you combine strong UX thinking with polished UI execution and enjoy solving real product problems through design, this role is a strong fit.

What You’ll Own

User Research & UX Strategy

  • Conduct user interviews, surveys, usability testing, and behavioral analysis
  • Identify user needs, pain points, and friction across digital experiences
  • Translate research into:
    • Personas
    • User journeys
    • User flows
    • Information architecture
    • Wireframes
  • Use behavioral and analytics tools such as:
    • Hotjar
    • FullStory

  • Combine qualitative and quantitative insights to identify UX opportunities
  • Recommend improvements based on user behavior, research, and product goals

Wireframing & Prototyping

  • Create low-fidelity wireframes to validate concepts and workflows
  • Build interactive prototypes for usability testing and stakeholder review
  • Develop high-fidelity product mockups using:
    • Figma
    • Adobe XD
    • Sketch
  • Rapidly iterate based on:
    • User testing
    • Stakeholder feedback
    • QA findings
  • Clearly communicate interaction patterns and intended product behavior
  • Move concepts efficiently from early exploration to production-ready design

UI & Product Design

  • Design clean, modern, and user-friendly interfaces
  • Create responsive experiences across:
    • Desktop
    • Tablet
    • Mobile
  • Balance usability, aesthetics, accessibility, and business objectives
  • Design user flows and conversion paths that minimize friction
  • Apply strong visual hierarchy, typography, spacing, and layout principles
  • Ensure interfaces are visually polished and production-ready
  • Maintain consistency across features and product experiences

Design Systems & Scalability

  • Build and maintain scalable design systems and component libraries
  • Establish consistent standards for:
    • Typography
    • Color

    • Interaction patterns
  • Create reusable components that improve design and development efficiency
  • Maintain organized design files, assets, specifications, and documentation

  • Identify opportunities to simplify complex workflows
  • Improve:
    • Task completion
    • Navigation
    • Conversion paths

  • Work closely with:
    • Product Managers
    • Developers
    • QA
    • Leadership
  • Participate in sprint planning, product discussions, and feature prioritization

  • Provide clear specifications, assets, and interaction documentation
  • Review implemented designs

  • Collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
