What You'll Be Doing

Lead Security Strategy

• Establish and execute a comprehensive platform security vision aligned with business objectives and risk management priorities.
• Define long-term security roadmaps that support product innovation and scalable growth.
• Champion a culture where security is viewed as an accelerator rather than a blocker.

Strengthen Cloud Platform Security

• Own the security posture of cloud-native platforms, services, data, and infrastructure.
• Drive continuous improvements to security architecture, controls, and operational resilience.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and adopt practices that improve security effectiveness.

Embed Security into Engineering

• Integrate security practices seamlessly throughout software delivery processes.
• Guide engineering teams through secure design, threat assessment, testing, validation, and deployment activities.
• Ensure secure coding principles and security standards are consistently applied across development initiatives.

Advance Secure Services Delivery

• Partner with professional services and engineering teams to ensure secure software development and maintenance practices.
• Establish repeatable security frameworks that support both internal and customer-facing solutions.

Measure and Improve

• Develop meaningful security metrics, reporting frameworks, and executive dashboards.
• Use data-driven insights to continually assess risk, improve controls, and demonstrate program effectiveness.

Respond and Adapt

• Provide leadership during security incidents and emerging threats.
• Drive continuous learning and readiness through proactive risk identification and mitigation.

Build and Develop High-Performing Teams

• Recruit, mentor, and empower security and engineering professionals.

What We're Looking For

We're excited to meet candidates who bring:

• Demonstrated expertise leading platform, application, or product security programs within complex technology environments.
• Extensive experience embedding security practices into modern software delivery and engineering workflows.
• Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, secure development methodologies, and DevOps operating models.
• Proven capability implementing and optimizing security tooling across application, infrastructure, and cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of threat modeling, vulnerability management, security testing, and secure software engineering principles.
• Experience leveraging security analytics, operational metrics, and risk-based decision-making to drive improvements.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence technical and executive audiences alike.
• A collaborative leadership style with a passion for mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-moving, evolving environment while balancing strategic vision with operational execution.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline or equivalent professional experience.

Compensation

Base Salary- $220,000-$235,000/yr depending on experience and qualifications

Background Checks
