What You’ll Be Doing
Design and build intuitive, responsive interfaces that simplify complex AI and agent-based workflows
Create real-time visualisations that clearly communicate system status and decision-making
Enable seamless human-AI collaboration through thoughtful interaction design
Develop reusable UI components that scale across future Labs initiatives
Extend into backend services and cloud APIs when needed to deliver end-to-end solutions
Prototype with emerging frameworks and AI-assisted development tools
Contribute to a culture of experimentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement
Your Impact
Your work will directly shape how partners and internal teams interact with autonomous systems, turning advanced technology into accessible, trusted tools. You’ll help establish frontend standards for Pax8 Labs while influencing how future products are conceived and delivered.
What You Bring
Substantial experience building modern frontend applications with frameworks such as React, SolidJS, Vue, or similar
Proven ability with TypeScript, modern CSS, and responsive design
Demonstrated skill creating high-performance, interactive interfaces using SVG, Canvas, or WebGL
Strong understanding of real-time data handling, dynamic state management, and streaming updates
Working knowledge of backend fundamentals, including Go or Python services and cloud-based APIs
Comfort operating in ambiguity, rapidly prototyping, and iterating toward scalable solutions
A collaborative mindset and passion for design craft, accessibility, and performance

Background Checks
As part of our hiring process, we are required to undertake pre-employment checks on all candidates that are successful in their application with Pax8. As part of these checks Pax8 will request ID verification, reference requests and qualification checks (additional checks may be completed for certain countries, such as criminal and financial). Compensation:
Qualified candidates can expect a compensation range of $160,000 to $180,000 or more depending on experience.
