The Salesforce Administrator builds, configures, and automates the salesforce platform to address business needs. The Salesforce Administrator will work closely with the Sales Operation team to define system requirements and customize the platform to Penlink’s business needs. As the administrator, you will be a trusted advisor and subject matter expert on all things Salesforce.
This position is located onsite in Lincoln, Nebraska
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build processes and workflows using APEX code
- Ensure optimal performance of the Salesforce system
- Upgrade and configure Salesforce systems for integrations
- Manage roles, profiles, sharing rules, workflows, and groups
- Import data from various platforms
- Create and maintain custom reports and dashboards
- Evaluate and install releases and provide support
- Troubleshoot issues within Salesforce
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
YOUR COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science is preferred but not required
- 3 years minimum experience as a Salesforce Administrator in a similar environment
- Experience in administrator and maintenance of Salesforce Systems
- Knowledge of and ability to follow Salesforce best practices
- Ability to work collaboratively with accounting, sales and support teams
- Self-driven individual who can manage multiple projects without supervision and is passionate about using
- Experience with the Agile/Scrum process preferred
- Ability to create and maintain Salesforce databases
- In-depth knowledge of Salesforce products and their functionalities including creating profiles, allocating roles, and managing access
- Knowledge of importing data and generating reports
