Our client, an established electronic security systems integrator, is looking for an experienced Installation & Service Technician to support commercial customers throughout Northern Nevada.
This role involves a combination of installation, programming, troubleshooting, and servicing electronic security systems, including access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection.
Key Responsibilities
Install, program, test, commission, troubleshoot, and service commercial electronic security systems.
Work with access control, CCTV/IP video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, networking, and system integration issues.
Respond to service calls, preventative maintenance requests, and emergency repairs.
Perform system upgrades, equipment replacements, and modifications to existing installations.
Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
Complete system start-ups, testing, commissioning, and customer training.
Coordinate with project managers, other technicians, and customers to ensure successful project completion.
Maintain accurate service reports, installation documentation, and project records.
3+ years of experience installing, servicing, or programming commercial electronic security systems preferred.
Hands-on experience with access control, CCTV/IP video, and intrusion systems.
Strong troubleshooting skills with electronic hardware, software, and networking.
Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
Comfortable working independently on installation projects and service calls.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout Northern Nevada.

Video Surveillance: Genetec, Milestone, IP camera systems
Intrusion: DMP, Bosch
