At Peratera, we understand the need to successfully grow your online business, so we streamlined all digital banking and payment solutions into one intuitive platform.

About Us
Peratera is a UK-based fintech company, founded in 2022 and authorised by the FCA as an Electronic Money Institution.
We are building a modern, all-in-one payment platform that enables businesses to manage global payments and financial operations seamlessly.
Our solution allows companies to open multi-currency accounts, send and receive payments worldwide, and manage cross-border transactions from a single platform.
Our mission is to simplify global finance and remove friction from international business operations.

Your Mission
As a Technical Program Manager, you’ll work closely with the CTO and Engineering leadership to turn technical and strategic priorities into structured programmes, coordinated execution and predictable delivery across multiple teams.

This role is ideal for someone who combines strong programme management skills with a solid understanding of software engineering, modern technology environments and business-critical financial systems.

Your Tech Environment
You will work in a modern, cloud-native stack with clear ownership and no legacy surprises:
Backend: Java 17+, Spring Boot (Core, Security, Data, Cloud), REST APIs, event-driven services, Camunda
Infrastructure: AWS (EKS, RDS, CloudWatch), Docker, Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD
Data & Messaging: PostgreSQL, AMQP / Kafka-style message brokers, event-driven architecture
Observability: OpenSearch / ELK, Prometheus / Micrometer, OpenTelemetry (in progress)
Integrations: Open Banking providers, banking partners, external payment systems

What You’ll Do
Coordinate technical initiatives across multiple Engineering teams, keeping scope, timelines and dependencies clear
Build and maintain delivery plans, including milestones, dependencies, risks, blockers and key actions
Track progress across multiple teams and provide clear status updates on delivery, risks and dependencies
Work with Engineering and Product teams to break down high-level initiatives into clear deliverables, milestones and actionable work
Coordinate cross-team dependencies and follow up with owners to ensure actions are completed on time
Maintain clear ownership of open actions, decisions, risks and blockers throughout the programme lifecycle
Prepare and maintain Confluence documentation, including programme plans, meeting notes, decisions, status updates and delivery documentation
Organise planning, status and delivery meetings, ensuring agendas, actions and decisions are clearly documented
Support backlog and requirements discussions, helping ensure work is sufficiently defined before Engineering planning
Prepare regular delivery reports and dashboards for Engineering and Product stakeholders
Maintain visibility across technology initiatives, including payments, banking integrations, card processing, liquidity, observability and platform development
Identify opportunities to improve Jira workflows, reporting, planning routines and delivery processes
Follow up on decisions and actions from technical and cross-functional meetings through to completion

What We’re Looking For
3+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Technical Project Management or a similar role
Experience coordinating technical projects or initiatives involving Engineering teams
Hands-on experience using Jira for project planning, backlog tracking, dependencies, risks, dashboards and reporting
Good working knowledge of Confluence for programme documentation, meeting notes, decisions and status reporting
Experience setting up or maintaining Jira boards, workflows, dashboards or other delivery tracking tools
Ability to structure technical work into clear milestones, deliverables, owners and timelines
Experience tracking project progress and identifying risks, blockers and dependencies early
Good understanding of the software development lifecycle and modern engineering practices
Strong organisational and communication skills with attention to detail
Practical understanding of Agile, Scrum or Kanban

Nice to Have
Familiarity with regulated payment environments, including PCI DSS, AML/KYC or EMI compliance requirements
Background in software engineering, data or another technology discipline
Experience with payment processing, money movement, banking integrations, payment providers, card schemes or cross-border payments

What You’ll Get
Competitive, market-aligned compensation
A genuine opportunity to shape Engineering delivery governance and ways of working
A real fintech environment — fast-moving, international, never boring
Work directly with Product and Engineering leaders to shape key product decisions
International, distributed team with a collaborative mindset
Remote-friendly setup with flexible working hours
Supportive team culture focused on knowledge sharing and ownership
