Position Overview

Peraton is seeking a Program Analyst to lead program reporting efforts for the FAA’s Radar System Replacement (RSR) team within the BNATCS program. This role is responsible for consolidating information from site teams, regional managers, vendors, schedulers, and functional leads into accurate, actionable reports that support program execution and leadership decision-making. This role will be supporting our team on-site at our Herndon, VA office.

The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and analytical thinker who can turn complex program information into clear executive briefings, dashboards, status reports, and action trackers. This individual will help maintain reporting standards, identify emerging issues, resolve conflicting information, and provide leadership with timely insight into program progress, risks, accomplishments, and critical decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Program Reporting: Establish and maintain reporting schedules, templates, submission requirements, and review processes for daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reporting.

  • Consolidate Program Status: Collect and validate updates on site readiness, surveys, equipment deliveries, installation, testing, training, and return-to-service activities.

  • Develop Leadership Briefings: Prepare executive summaries, dashboards, presentations, and Program Management Review materials for Peraton leadership and FAA stakeholders.

  • Support Program Coordination: Develop concise updates for FAA, Peraton, and vendor meetings, highlighting accomplishments, outstanding issues, critical blockers, action owners, and required decisions.

  • Align Reporting with Program Schedules: Coordinate with scheduling teams to ensure reported milestones, forecasts, delays, and recovery plans align with the Integrated Master Schedule and applicable FAA Corporate Work Plan information.

  • Manage Actions and Decisions: Maintain action, issue, and decision logs; track ownership and due dates; and proactively follow up to ensure timely resolution.

  • Monitor Program Risks: Work with risk management and functional leads to communicate potential impacts involving equipment deliveries, installation, staffing, logistics, training, and technical activities.

  • Analyze Program Performance: Track planned versus actual progress, milestone completion, installation throughput, and staffing readiness. Identify trends, potential delays, and areas requiring management attention.

  • Ensure Reporting Accuracy: Reconcile conflicting information, validate source data, maintain consistent reporting standards, and clearly distinguish confirmed updates from estimates and pending decisions.

  • Coordinate Vendor Reporting: Monitor vendor reporting requirements, identify missing or inconsistent submissions, and elevate unresolved issues to program leadership.

  • Improve Field Communications: Develop site updates, newsletters, and lessons-learned summaries to strengthen communication across geographically dispersed teams.

  • Maintain Program Documentation: Organize reports, briefing materials, source data, and supporting records in designated program repositories while maintaining version control and information-handling standards.

Measures of Success

  • Deliver accurate, consistent, and timely reporting across all program levels.

  • Provide leadership with clear visibility into site progress, schedule performance, emerging risks, and decisions requiring attention.

  • Maintain accountability through clearly defined action owners, deadlines, and timely issue escalation.

  • Identify performance trends and potential delays early enough to support proactive corrective action.

  • Establish consistent reporting practices that improve communication, data quality, and coordination across field teams and functional organizations.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain a Public Trust clearance is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, program management, engineering, analytics, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Eight (8) years of experience supporting program reporting, project controls, or program management on a complex technical, infrastructure, or government program (6 years required with a Master's degree, and only 3 years required with PhD).
  • Demonstrated ability to consolidate information from multiple sources and produce clear, accurate reports for senior leaders.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Ability to interpret schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, and performance measures.
  • Strong analytical, writing, editing, organizational, and follow-through skills.
  • Ability to manage recurring deadlines while responding to urgent reporting requests.
  • Ability to work effectively with government customers, vendors, technical personnel, and geographically dispersed field teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting FAA, National Airspace System, radar, surveillance, or other mission-critical modernization programs.
  • Experience reporting on simultaneous installations or construction activities across multiple sites.
  • Familiarity with Integrated Master Schedules, risk registers, contract deliverables, and government program reviews.
  • Experience developing Power BI dashboards or improving reporting workflows through approved automation tools.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Project or Primavera schedule outputs.
