About the role
As an Accountant, you will work collaboratively as part of a team to deliver high-quality services to clients. You will prepare financial statements and tax returns, support tax compliance and planning activities, and research a range of tax, structuring, wealth and asset protection matters.
Role responsibilities include:
Prepare financial statements and tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, companies and SMSFs.
Complete tax compliance work, including Division 7A, FBT, CGT, payroll and other indirect tax calculations.
Prepare and implement tax planning strategies and initiatives.
Research tax, business structuring, wealth and asset protection issues.
Collaborate with colleagues to deliver commercially relevant outcomes for clients.
Identify relevant risks and escalate matters when appropriate.
About you
A bachelor’s degree in accounting or commerce.
Approximately one to three years’ experience in Australian public practice.
Commenced or completed CA or CPA studies.
Experience working with privately owned groups, individuals and multiple entity types.
Strong interpersonal, collaboration and time-management skills.
Clear communication, strong research skills and the ability to propose practical solutions.
