About Position:

We are seeking an experienced Java AI Lead with 10-14 years of expertise in designing, developing, and delivering enterprise-scale applications and AI-driven solutions. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership across multiple programs, define architecture strategies, drive modernization initiatives, and lead high-performing engineering teams.

What You'll Do:

• Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of large-scale enterprise applications and modernization programs.
• Define and drive cross-program technical strategy, engineering standards, and reference architectures.
• Design scalable Microservices and event-driven architectures using Java, Spring Boot, and Kafka.
• Lead complex transformation initiatives including COBOL to Java modernization, IBM MQ to Kafka migration, and cloud transformation programs.
• Design and implement Agentic AI solutions, RAG-based architectures, and AI-assisted engineering workflows.
• Establish AI-Driven Software Development Lifecycle (AIDLC) standards and adoption across engineering teams.
• Define evaluation frameworks, AI governance models, and performance measurements for AI-powered solutions.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects, Product Owners, Business Stakeholders, and Delivery Teams to align technology strategy with business objectives.
• Drive architecture reviews, technical governance, solution assessment, and engineering best practices.
• Lead cloud-native application development and modernization initiatives using GCP technologies.
• Oversee enterprise integration, resiliency, scalability, observability, and performance engineering initiatives.
• Drive technical excellence through code reviews, design reviews, mentoring, and engineering coaching.
• Own project delivery governance, resource planning, demand forecasting, and project health management.
• Manage client relationships, stakeholder communications, and executive-level technical discussions.
• Lead technical demonstrations, solution workshops, and architecture presentations.
• Define reusable frameworks, development accelerators, and engineering productivity improvements.
• Support CI/CD implementation, DevOps automation, security, and compliance initiatives.
• Mentor engineering teams and cultivate a culture of innovation, learning, and continuous improvement.

Expertise You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 10-14 years of experience in enterprise application development, software architecture, and technology leadership.
• Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture, and Enterprise Application Design.
• Extensive experience with Kafka and Event-Driven Architectures.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, scalability patterns, and enterprise integration frameworks.
• Experience designing and implementing cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Knowledge of GKE, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, and cloud modernization strategies.
• Expertise in API-driven architectures, RESTful services, and asynchronous messaging systems.
• Strong understanding of architecture principles, design patterns, domain-driven design, and engineering best practices.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and enterprise database technologies.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub, GitHub Copilot, Maven, Docker, Jira, and Confluence.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and deployment automation.
• Experience with Harness, SonarQube, containerization, Kubernetes, and observability frameworks.
• Exposure to Terraform and Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
• Experience with workflow orchestration platforms such as Camunda or Appian.
• Strong knowledge of Generative AI, Agentic AI, RAG architectures, and Context Engineering.
• Experience implementing AI productivity frameworks and measuring AI ROI across engineering teams.
• Knowledge of MCP (Model Context Protocol) integrations and enterprise AI tooling.
• Familiarity with Vertex AI, IBM Watsonx, and enterprise AI platforms.
• Strong architectural expertise in legacy modernization and migration programs.
• Proven experience leading large engineering teams and multiple workstreams.
• Strong client engagement, stakeholder management, and executive communication skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Experience working in Agile, DevOps, and modern software delivery environments.
