About Position:
We are seeking an experienced Python Developer with strong expertise in Networking and Telecom domains to build and enhance network monitoring and service provisioning solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Optical and Packet Networking technologies, Network Management Systems (NMS), API integrations, and modern cloud-native technologies.

What You'll Do:
- Design, develop, and maintain software components for network monitoring and management platforms.
- Build southbound connectors and interfaces to integrate with IP and Optical NMS Controllers and network devices.
- Study and integrate APIs exposed by various network controllers and devices.
- Collect, process, and transform network data related to inventory, topology, services, performance statistics, and notifications.
- Develop scalable data models for network monitoring and analytics platforms.
- Integrate provisioning APIs to automate the creation, modification, and deletion of network services.
- Support Optical Ethernet (E-Line) service provisioning and IP VPN services, including L2VPN and L3VPN.
- Develop high-performance Python applications using asynchronous and concurrent programming techniques.
- Collaborate with product engineering, architecture, and networking teams to define technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot network integration issues and optimize API communication workflows.
- Contribute to software quality through code reviews, testing, documentation, and best practices.
- Work with containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Participate in Agile development processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Expertise You'll Bring:
- 5-12 years of software development experience with strong exposure to networking and telecom domains.
- Strong Python programming skills with hands-on experience in Asyncio, Generators, Multi-threading, Concurrency programming, API integration.
- Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and design patterns.
- Extensive knowledge of Optical and Packet Networking technologies.
- Strong understanding of Layer 0 (L0), Layer 1 (L1), Layer 2 (L2), Layer 3 (L3), ISIS, IGP, Segment Routing (SR Policy).
- Hands-on experience with Network Management Systems (NMS) and Northbound APIs (NBIs).
- Experience integrating with IP and Optical network controllers and devices.
- Strong understanding of network inventory, topology, service, and performance management.
- Experience working with REST APIs, JSON, XML, and network data models.
- Working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes platforms.
- Proficiency with Git, GitHub, Linux, and JIRA.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
- Excellent documentation, communication, and presentation capabilities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional engineering and product teams.
