About Position:
We are seeking an experienced Senior IBM Security Identity Manager (ISIM) Engineer to design, implement, and support identity governance and administration solutions using IBM Security Identity Manager (ISIM) and IBM Security Verify Governance platforms. This role is responsible for automating identity lifecycle management, provisioning, access governance, and compliance controls across enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will work closely with security, infrastructure, application, and business teams to deliver scalable identity management solutions that enhance security, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

What You'll Do:
- Design, configure, and support IBM Security Identity Manager (ISIM) and IBM Security Verify Governance solutions.
- Configure identities, organizational structures, services, provisioning policies, roles, workflows, and access governance controls.
- Implement Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) processes and automate identity lifecycle management activities.
- Develop and maintain provisioning adapters, connectors, and integrations with Active Directory, LDAP, cloud platforms, enterprise applications, and HR systems.
- Create and enhance workflows, business rules, approval processes, scripts, and custom provisioning logic.
- Manage reconciliation processes, identity synchronization, entitlement management, and account governance controls.
- Troubleshoot provisioning failures, reconciliation issues, workflow errors, and platform-related incidents.
- Collaborate with application owners, infrastructure teams, and security stakeholders to onboard new applications and services.
- Support identity governance functions including access certifications, segregation of duties controls, policy enforcement, and audit requirements.
- Perform platform upgrades, patch management, performance optimization, and environment maintenance activities.
- Develop technical documentation, operational procedures, implementation guides, and support runbooks.
- Participate in testing, deployment, release management, and production transition activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance platform stability, automation, and operational efficiency.
Expertise You'll Bring:
- 8-12 years of experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM), Identity Governance & Administration (IGA), or Cybersecurity Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with IBM Security Identity Manager (ISIM), IBM Security Verify Governance, or related IBM Identity solutions.
- Deep understanding of identity lifecycle management, access provisioning, reconciliation, role management, and governance processes.
- Experience designing and implementing Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) workflows and automated identity management solutions.
- Strong expertise in configuring provisioning adapters, services, workflows, policies, and identity governance controls.
- Experience integrating ISIM with Active Directory, LDAP directories, databases, enterprise applications, cloud platforms, and HR systems.
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, LDAP, SQL, XML, REST APIs, and enterprise integration technologies.
- Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, RBAC, access governance, and entitlement management concepts.
- Experience troubleshooting complex provisioning, reconciliation, workflow, and application onboarding issues.
- Familiarity with compliance and governance frameworks including SOX, ISO 27001, NIST, PCI-DSS, and access certification requirements.
- Experience with application onboarding, connector development, and custom integration implementations.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
- Ability to mentor junior team members and provide technical leadership for IAM initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- IBM Security Verify Governance, IBM Security Identity Manager, CISSP, CISM, or related security certifications are advantageous.
