Your responsibilities as a Data Science Analyst -

  • Understanding of regression analysis (linear regression)
  • Experience in R Programming (example of relevant packages: lm, rstan, glm, forecast, dplyr, tidyverse, data.table) AND/OR Python (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, SciPy)
  • Ability to interpret model outputs and diagnostics
  • Data Manipulation/Wrangling/Transformation and cleaning
  • Basic Excel skills (Pivoting and simple formulas such as SUMIFS, VLOOKUP)

Nice to have-

  • Complex statistical methods like time-series analysis, Bayesian methods
  • Experience with machine learning algorithms
  • Experience with Marketing Data, familiarity with sales, media spend, pricing and promotions
  • Marketing Domain knowledge, especially marketing effectiveness and ROI measurement
