We are seeking an Analytics Engineer to join our team in Brussels, Belgium. You will be responsible for creating clarity and structure in our data, transforming it into actionable insights that help our colleagues move forward.

Key responsibilities

  • Create clarity and structure in data and transform it into a clear overview for colleagues.

  • Write SQL transformations and maintain them with growing data volumes.

  • Build data models independently from source analysis to reporting layer.

  • Refactor existing code, document, and add automated tests.

  • Translate business questions into concrete data models and refine requirements.

Required qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering.

  • At least 1 year of experience using dbt.

  • Excellent SQL knowledge.

  • Strong analytical skills and eye for detail.

  • Ability to work independently and coordinate with team on technical decisions.

  • Good knowledge of Dutch.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Python.

  • Familiarity with Scrum, DevOps, or AWS.
