Mandatory technical experience
· 15 years each: GIS methodologies/tools/platforms such as ArcGIS/QGIS/GRASS; geospatial data management including modelling, transformation, enrichment, QA, dissemination and visualisation; web cartography/standards such as ArcGIS/QGIS/OSGeo, GeoJSON/TopoJSON, SLD, T-WMS/OGC and Leaflet/D3js; interactive web-mapping technologies such as HTML5/WebGL/JavaScript/Node.js/CSS/SVG/REST/Qlik; cartographic design and interactive/real-time mapping such as ArcGIS Online/Leaflet/Mapbox.
Mandatory skills and delivery experience
· 10 years each: analysing spatial data and providing geographic insights; spatial-data capture/reporting; resolving GIS integration/configuration challenges.
Additional / advantageous criteria
Optional education: Bachelor's EQF 6 or Master's EQF 7 in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
Relevant sector experience: 5 years each: international/intergovernmental organisations or central national administrations; pharma, health or agrifood.
Additional technical experience: 5 years each: earth-observation data collection/processing/integration/analysis such as Copernicus/Sentinel/Landsat; geospatial big-data tools such as MapReduce/Athena/Hadoop/GEE; AI in GIS; issue tracking/collaboration; Python/R/JavaScript-type automation, web services and development; version control/CI.
Additional skills / experience: 7 years in GIS tools and technologies.
Optional certifications: Esri Technical Certification such as ArcGIS Pro Associate/Professional, or equivalent.
