Spirit AI is a Chinese embodied intelligence company that develops general-purpose humanoid robots and foundation models that act as a general brain for robots, headquartered in Beijing. Founded in January 2024 and operated by a Beijing-registered company, it builds its own Spirit series of embodied models, such as Spirit v1.5, which it reports leads the RoboChallenge benchmark, and delivers robots to research institutes, showrooms and factories. It recruits robot software engineers, model fine-tuning and reinforcement learning researchers, hardware test engineers and solution engineers, plus interns, with offices in Shenzhen and Hangzhou.
