Overview
Our client, a growing manufacturing organization, is seeking a Production Supervisor to support daily operations and lead production personnel in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This individual will oversee day-to-day floor activities, coordinate production schedules, support continuous improvement efforts, and ensure safety and quality standards are maintained.
Responsibilities
- Supervise production and assembly employees on a daily basis
- Drive execution of production schedules and ensure manufacturing goals are met
- Coordinate activities between production, warehouse, quality, and operations teams
- Monitor workflow, productivity, and material availability
- Identify and resolve production bottlenecks and operational challenges
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company procedures
- Review work orders, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and production documentation
- Provide coaching, training, and support to production personnel
- Track production metrics and communicate status updates to leadership
- Support process improvement and operational excellence initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years of manufacturing supervision or production leadership experience
- Experience leading teams in a production, assembly, or manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems
- Ability to read and interpret production schedules and manufacturing documentation
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to drive accountability and meet operational objectives
