Python Backend Automation Engineer

Role Overview :

We are looking for a skilled Python Backend Automation Engineer with 4 - 8 years of experience to develop and maintain Python-based backend and device automation solutions for real-world medical technology.

This is not a Selenium/UI Automation role.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in backend, API, service, hardware, or device-level automation, preferably within the Medical Devices, Healthcare, or Embedded Systems domain.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain Python-based backend automation frameworks and solutions.

- Develop automation for APIs, backend services, hardware, and medical devices.

- Build reliable and scalable automation solutions for real-world medical technology applications.

- Develop and execute automated tests for backend services and device-level functionality.

- Integrate automation solutions with APIs, backend systems, and connected devices.

- Analyze automation failures, troubleshoot issues, and perform root-cause analysis.

- Collaborate with development, QA, hardware, and other engineering teams to ensure product quality.

- Contribute to improving automation coverage, reliability, and execution efficiency.

- Support validation and testing activities for medical device and healthcare-related applications.

- Ensure automation solutions are maintainable, robust, and aligned with engineering requirements.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 4 - 8 years of experience in Python development and backend automation.

- Strong hands-on experience with Python.

- Experience in automating APIs, backend services, hardware, or devices.

- Strong understanding of backend automation and testing concepts.

- Experience troubleshooting and debugging automation failures.

- Ability to develop automation solutions for complex technical environments.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication and collaboration skills.
