About the Role :
We are seeking an experienced QA Practice Lead with strong expertise in QA Architect, Manual Testing, Automation Testing (preferably Playwright), and working knowledge of Performance and/or Security Testing as well as other modern test frameworks like BDD (Cucumber), Playwright, etc.
This is a strategic and technical leadership role that requires deep testing expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to influence engineering teams across multiple accounts.
Key Responsibilities :
- Hands-on automation architecture, ability to build a framework from scratch, strong coding and debugging, CI/CD and modern QE practices, and client-facing solutioning/technical leadership.
- Lead the definition, implementation, and continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices.
- Contribute to pre-sales: solutioning, estimation, proposals, and customer presentations.
- Provide hands-on support in manual and automation testing for high-priority/complex projects.
- Build, review, and optimize automation frameworks (Java/Selenium, BDD, Playwright, API Testing).
- Identify improvement opportunities across projects - test coverage, productivity, process maturity.
- Explore, evaluate, and adopt AI-driven QA tools and practices to enhance quality and efficiency.
- Collaborate with delivery, DevOps, and product teams to ensure a strong QA strategy.
- Oversee or guide performance and security testing initiatives (good to have).
Skills & Experience:
- 12+ years in QA Architect with deep hands-on experience in manual & automated testing.
- Strong expertise in Java-based automation, Playwright, and modern frameworks like Cucumber/BDD, Playwright, and API testing tools.
- Experience implementing QA processes across multiple projects/accounts.
- Strong communication, leadership, mentoring, and customer-facing skills.
- Experience with CI/CD, Agile/Scrum, and modern QA tooling.
- Ability to drive adoption of AI-powered testing tools, script generation, analytics, and productivity accelerators.
- ISTQB or similar QA certifications.
- Exposure to performance/security testing (good to have).
