Customer Service Representative (CSR)
Full-Time | Winnipeg, MB
About Price Electronics
Price Electronics is a contract electronics manufacturer based in Winnipeg, building printed circuit board assemblies and full turnkey products for customers across North America. We manage complex supply chains, run multiple SMT production lines, and work with customers in industries where quality and reliability matter. We’re growing and looking for someone to grow with us.
The Role
We're looking for a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to serve as the primary contact for a group of assigned customer accounts and take ownership of their orders. The CSR is the voice of the customer and will manage every order from receipt to shipment and keep customers informed, whether it's a standard production build, an order requiring an engineering change, or one affected by end-of-life materials. Partnering with our Customer Account Specialist and internal teams (Sales, Purchasing, Planning, Production, Shipping, Quality, Finance, and Engineering), the CSR makes sure orders are accurate, on time, and handled professionally, while keeping customers updated and resolving issues quickly.
What You’ll Do
Customer Order Entry and Maintenance
Manage assigned customer orders from receipt through shipment and completion.
Review new purchase orders and revisions for completeness, accuracy, pricing, quantity, currency, delivery requirements, shipping instructions, payment terms, and other required information.
Identify missing, conflicting, or unclear information and obtain clarification before processing.
Enter and maintain customer purchase order demand accurately in the ERP system.
Maintain accurate wanted dates, confirmed dates, pricing, customer references, order notes, and other required order information.
Communicate new orders, revisions, cancellations, delivery changes, and special customer requirements to the appropriate internal departments.
Confirm delivery information to the customer using verified internal information.
Track open and upcoming orders and follow up when delivery commitments may be at risk.
Process or redirect customer inquiries to the appropriate internal teams.
Customer Relationship Management and Communication
Serve as the voice of the customer and regular Customer Service contact for assigned accounts regarding customer order working closely with internal team members for related matters. Eg: Working with the Customer Account Specialist for business/commercial related matters.
Provide proactive updates regarding order status, delivery dates, delays, and required customer actions.
Respond to customer inquiries within established service expectations.
Maintain knowledge of assigned customers, products, pricing agreements, and service requirements.
Develop and maintain positive customer relationships through accurate, timely, and professional service.
Send open-order reports and other recurring customer reports as assigned.
Provide account coverage for other CSRs when required.
Problem Resolution and Cross-Functional Coordination
Investigate and resolve routine order, delivery, shipping, invoicing, documentation, return, cancellation, and discrepancy issues.
Coordinate with Sales, Purchasing, Planning, Production, Shipping, Quality, Finance, Engineering, and other departments to gather facts and determine next steps.
Follow up on material shortages, production constraints, quality concerns, and shipping issues that may affect customer order commitments.
Participate in customer-account reviews and internal order-review meetings as required.
Systems, Records and Process Support
Maintain assigned customer accounts and related information in ERP or other approved systems.
Maintain customer agreements and price lists in accordance with approved processes.
Update New Product Information (NPI), open-order reports, and other assigned customer records.
Participate in improvement initiatives and ongoing process-improvement activities.
Identify recurring order or communication issues and bring them forward for corrective action.
What We’re Looking For
1–3 years of experience in customer service, sales support, order management, or a related role—ideally in manufacturing, electronics, or a technical industry, but we’ll consider strong candidates from adjacent fields.
Strong communication skills—you’re comfortable on the phone, in email, and in a room with customers.
Detail-oriented and organized—you can juggle multiple accounts and open issues without letting things fall through.
Comfortable with ERP systems, CRM tools, and Excel. Experience with any of these is an asset; aptitude matters more than specific platforms.
Post-secondary education in business, engineering, or a related field is an asset but not required.
Other duties as assigned as we, Price Electronics continue to grow.
Why Price Electronics?
Direct mentorship from senior leadership in a company small enough that your contributions are visible and valued.
Exposure to the full lifecycle of electronics manufacturing—from quoting through production and delivery.
A growth-stage company with real upward mobility for someone who proves themselves.
Winnipeg-based with a North American customer footprint.
