Software Engineer 1 (Full-Stack)

Join our team as a Software Engineer 1, an early-career role where you will have the opportunity to grow quickly on a production system that prioritizes quality and regulatory compliance. You will work across our TypeScript/Node back end and React front end, starting with small, clearly defined tasks and gradually taking on more complex work as you become familiar with the system. You will receive support from senior engineers, participate in code reviews, and collaborate with Product, QA, and UX teams. This is a fully remote position with a focus on AI-driven tools and a product-led mindset.

Missions

• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment, with a focus on building and shipping features across the stack.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to improve code quality, participate in code reviews, and take on increasing responsibility for more complex tasks as your understanding of the system grows.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development, utilizing AI coding tools and seeking feedback to enhance your skills and contributions to the team.

Profil recherché

- Clear written communication, with a strong command of the English language

- Authorized to work in the U.S. or Canada

- Comfort with git-based workflows: branch, PR, review, CI

- Working knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript, and comfort with at least one of Node.js (back end) or React (front end)

- The instinct to ask for help at the right time

- Familiarity with relational databases and writing SQL

- Up to 2 years of professional software engineering experience

- Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants, plus the judgment to know when their output is wrong

- Any background in finance, brokerage, trading, or blockchain. Genuine curiosity counts more than credentials here

- Exposure to microservices, Docker, or cloud platforms (AWS)

- Automated testing experience

- Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar
