DayintheLifeofthe Software Engineer (DevOps):

• Collaborates with Product Development, Architecture, and Infrastructure teams to support the design and delivery of cloud solutions for enterprise applications.

• Contributes to the development and enhancement of cloud-native capabilities that improvethe scalability, resilience, and delivery of products.

• Develops, tests, andmaintainsautomation tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud delivery processes, with guidance from more experienced team members.

• Works with containerization technologies, Kubernetes, and Helm to deploy and support platform capabilities.

• Assistsdevelopment teams in adopting cloud and DevOps practices and using the platform effectively.

• Supports the implementation and maintenance of monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for applications, infrastructure, and shared services.

• Investigatesoperational issues, contributes to troubleshooting activities, and escalates complex matters whenappropriate.

• Learnsabout new tools, technologies, and cloud-native patterns andsharesrelevant findings with the team.

• Works within a Scrum/Agile environment, contributes to the DevOps backlog, andparticipatesin sprint ceremonies.

• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to follow and continuously improve deployment and operational practices.

RequiredQualifications-Aboutyou:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience.

• Foundational experience working with Linux environments and writing basic Bash scripts.

• Familiarity with automation or scripting using Bash and/or Python.

• Basic knowledge of at least one cloud platform, such as AWS or Azure.

• Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as Docker, and an understanding of container orchestration concepts.

• Exposure to CI/CD concepts and tools, such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

• Experience using Git and familiarity with modern software development workflows.

• Basic understanding of monitoring, logging, and troubleshooting concepts.Exposure totools such as Prometheus, Grafana,Graylog, or Loki is an advantage.

• Understanding ofnetworking fundamentals, including DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, and SSH.

• Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to seek guidance and escalate complex issues whenappropriate.

• Ability to contribute across automation, deployments, operations, and application support activities.

• Responsibleand proactive approach to assigned work, with a willingness to take ownership of tasks.

• Goodcommunicationand collaboration skills.

• Strong interest in learningnew technologiesand developingexpertisein complex business domains.

HighlyPreferred:

• Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

• Exposure to Kubernetes and Helm.

• Familiarity with incident response and production support processes.

• Exposureto secretsmanagement solutions, such as AWS Secrets Manager or Azure Key Vault.

• Familiarity with messaging platforms, such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.

• Basic understanding of security best practices and vulnerability management.
