Position Overview

Under directionof the Company Services Supervisor, performs a broad range of custodian dutiesand manual work in the care and cleaning of the company headquartersbuilding, medical clinicand/orother assignedfacilities. Duties include dusting and polishing furniture, emptying trash, sweeping, cleaning surfacesand inspecting cleanliness of buildings.

Essential Job Functions

• Performscleaning duties adhering to approved department proceduresand standards.
• Keeps building and property in clean and orderly condition.
• Cleans and polishes fixtures and furniture.
• Sweeps, mops, scrubs, or vacuumsfloors.
• Clean windows, glass partitions and mirrors, using cleaners, spongesand squeegees.
• Scrubs, sanitizes, and supplies restroom facilities.
• Loads/unloadsdishwashers;cleanscountertop, coffeeequipment,cateringsandconference rooms.
• Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power machinery to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
• Maintains custodial equipment and supplies; performs preventative maintenance and maintainscleaning chemicals and consumable inventory.
• May train others and performsrelated work as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D.certificate.
• Experienceusing cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and cleaning solutionspreferred.
• Ability to read and write the English language.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to stand, walk, andperform repetitive motion for long periodsof time.
• Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds.
