Unlike other quantum technologies that require very low temperatures; PsiQuantum is developing quantum computers that use light particles, called photonic qubits. This means they can operate at room temperature. They use standard silicon photonics to fabricate their chips, which is a technology that is already widely used in the electronics industry.
