Senior Network Engineer

Description: Design, implement, monitor, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, Data Center Network, Firewall, VPN (Site-to-Site/SSL), Aruba Wireless, DNS, and DNSSEC.
Manage and support cloud network connectivity and security across Azure and AWS environments, including VNet/VPC, VPN Gateway, Routing, NSG, and Cloud Firewalls.
Monitor network availability, performance, capacity, and security to ensure system stability and business continuity.
Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Manage network configuration, firmware upgrades, security patching, vulnerability remediation, and change management activities.
Prepare and review Technical Requirements, Terms of Reference (TOR), and technical specifications for network infrastructure and security solutions.
Conduct technical evaluations, Proof of Concept (POC), solution testing, and TOR compliance verification before implementation.
Support network infrastructure projects, including solution design, planning, implementation, migration, and performance optimization.
Coordinate and attend meetings with Business Units (BU), IT teams, vendors, and relevant stakeholders to gather requirements, investigate issues, identify solutions, and support project delivery.
Support Disaster Recovery (DR), network redundancy, high availability, and business continuity requirements.
Prepare and maintain network diagrams, configurations, technical documentation, operational procedures, and performance reports.
Collaborate with infrastructure, security, application, and development teams to ensure secure and reliable network connectivity.
Provide technical consultation, knowledge sharing, and recommendations for network improvement and problem resolution.
Support planned maintenance, critical incidents, and other assigned IT infrastructure activities, including after-hours support when required.
Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
5-8 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network infrastructure, implementation, and operations.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, VLAN, BGP/OSPF, Firewall, VPN, DNS, and network security.
Experience with enterprise network solutions such as Cisco, Aruba, Palo Alto, Fortinet, or equivalent technologies.
Experience in network troubleshooting, incident management, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and production support.
Ability to perform network design, technical evaluation, TOR preparation, POC, testing, and implementation.
Knowledge of cloud networking, particularly Microsoft Azure; AWS experience is an advantage.
Familiarity with network monitoring, performance optimization, security hardening, and change management.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.
Able to work independently and collaborate effectively with Business Units, internal teams, and external vendors.
Self-motivated, service-minded, proactive, and willing to learn new technologies.
Willing to support maintenance activities or critical incidents outside normal working hours when necessary.
Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Microsoft AZ-700, or equivalent.
Experience with hybrid-cloud or multi-cloud network environments.
Knowledge of WAF, DNS Security, DNSSEC, Zero Trust, and network automation.
Experience supporting large-scale enterprise or multi-branch network infrastructure.
Experience preparing technical specifications, evaluating vendor proposals, and verifying TOR compliance.
