Job Description & Summary

Kia ora,

At PwC, our purpose is clear: to build trust in society and solve important problems.

This is a place to keep growing. You’ll learn from the best, take on meaningful challenges, and make a lasting impact for our clients, our communities and Aotearoa.

Ngā kōrero mō tēnei tūranga / About the role

Our Digital & Data Transformation team helps organisations navigate change, embrace new opportunities and reimagine how they work. We partner with some of New Zealand's leading organisations on high-profile, complex transformation engagements, working closely with senior leaders to tackle their most important business challenges. We work with clients to define strategies, design practical solutions and deliver transformation that creates sustainable business value.

As a Senior Analyst, you will be fully client-facing and contribute directly to engagements from the outset. You'll have the opportunity to work alongside senior executives and key decision-makers, gaining exposure to strategic conversations and helping shape the future direction of organisations. From developing digital strategies and transformation roadmaps to rethinking business processes and exploring emerging technologies, you'll contribute to a diverse range of projects that make a real difference.

The role will give you the opportunity to build broader consulting capability while continuing to deepen your existing strengths, develop new skills and take on greater responsibility as you grow your career.

Your day-to-day could include:

  • Working directly with clients including senior leaders and decision-makers, to understand their business needs, strategic priorities and opportunities for transformation.
  • Contributing to high-profile digital strategy, business transformation and technology-enabled change engagements as part of a multidisciplinary consulting team.
  • Helping organisations rethink how they operate, improve customer and employee experiences, and make better use of digital and data.
  • Supporting the development of client deliverables, recommendations, roadmaps, business cases and transformation plans that turn strategy into action.
  • Analysing complex business challenges, bringing fresh perspectives and developing practical, innovative recommendations.
  • Supporting workshops, interviews, and working sessions with business and technology stakeholders to explore ideas, build alignment and shape solutions.
  • Exploring how emerging technologies, including AI, automation and data, can help clients unlock opportunities and transform the way they work.
  • Communicating clearly with clients and team members, including explaining complex ideas and recommendations in a consumable way
  • Working collaboratively across different disciplines and adapting your approach to meet the needs of each engagement.
  • Developing your consulting, stakeholder management and delivery capability through hands-on client work, coaching and feedback.

Ngā pūkenga ka kawea mai e koe, ka whakawhanakehia rānei i tēnei tūranga / Skills you will bring or develop in this role

  • 3+ years’ relevant experience in digital transformation, business transformation, consulting, technology or a related field.
  • Experience in a consulting environment would be valuable, but we also welcome candidates with relevant industry experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business challenges, think creatively and develop practical solutions.
  • An understanding of how digital, data and emerging technologies can help organisations improve performance, innovate and deliver better outcomes.
  • The ability to understand client requirements, translate them into practical, high-quality outputs and communicate clearly with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Curiosity, adaptability and strong collaboration skills, with the ability to contribute effectively across multidisciplinary digital and data transformation teams.
  • A commitment to broadening your consulting capability while continuing to build on your existing skills, knowledge and areas of interest.
  • Experience in areas such as digital strategy, business analysis, operating model design, process improvement, technology strategy or transformation delivery would be an advantage.
  • Experience engaging with senior stakeholders, including executives, or contributing to complex programmes of work would also be valuable.

If you don’t meet every requirement, we still want to hear from you-your skills and potential may be a great fit.
