As a business application consulting generalist at PwC, you will provide consulting services for a wide range of business applications. You will leverage a broad understanding of various software solutions to assist clients in optimising operational efficiency through analysis, implementation, training, and support.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled MERN Stack Developer with hands-on experience in React.js, Node.js, MongoDB, and Express.js, along with exposure to AI/Generative AI solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing scalable web applications, integrating AI-powered features, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative digital solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using the MERN stack.
- Build responsive and reusable UI components using React.js.
- Develop RESTful APIs and backend services using Node.js and Express.js.
- Integrate AI/LLM services such as OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Gemini, or Claude into applications.
- Implement chatbot, recommendation, search, and AI-driven automation solutions.
- Optimize application performance, security, and scalability.
- Collaborate with product, UX, and DevOps teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities.
Mandatory skill sets:
- 4+ years of experience in MERN Stack development.
- Strong expertise in React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
- Experience with JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture.
- Experience integrating AI/GenAI APIs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, etc.).
- Git, CI/CD, and Agile development practices.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Preferred Skill sets:
- Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
- Knowledge of Vector Databases (Pinecone, ChromaDB, Weaviate).
- Cloud experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
- Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, or AI orchestration frameworks.
