Joining Qantas at our brand-new Product Innovation Centre located in Adelaide, you will contribute to consumer needs by building intuitive, high-performing mobile experiences that respond to user feedback, enhance engagement and deliver intuitive solutions aligned with evolving customer expectations.

As a Senior iOS Developer, you’ll be responsible for delivery and development of the software systems that power our business unit, working with cross-functional squads, UX/UI designers, Technology Lead, Product Owner, Product Specialist and Test Engineers to maintain and continuously improve the mobile application. This is an opportunity to work in a passionate and supportive team.

You’ll be working alongside business stakeholders and other developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. You will be architecting technical framework solutions and guidelines to fit in a large iOS product. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products is essential.

You’ll have:

• 6+ years in a similar role
• Good understanding of Object-oriented design and patterns
• Demonstrable experience building, releasing and supporting multiple iOS apps
• Exceptional skills in writing readable, clean, and structured code utilising proper architecture and software design patterns
• Deep knowledge of iOS application development in Swift using technologies and tools like UIKit, SwiftUI, Swift Package Manager, Core Animation and Push Notifications
• Proficiency with Xcode and instruments for performance tuning and debugging
• Ability to architect complex iOS solutions, experience in common patterns such as MVVM
• Confidence with CI/CD pipelines, preferably GitHub Actions
• Experience writing multi-threaded, asynchronous code
• Experience with server-driven architectures will be well regarded
• Ability to mentor junior developers and perform code reviews
