OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR (POTABLE WATER)

Manage and supervise operating personnel, plant and equipment for safe and efficient operation of the assigned Facilities to meet all Asset Operators requirements. Liaise with Asset Operators and other sections of operations department to coordinate planned and emergency shutdown activities.
Identify plant modification as per requirement. Develop operation procedures. Authorize work permits for the maintenance and project related activities. Accountable for optimised utilization of all call-off contracts. Responsible for ensuring the highest HSE standard for plant and personnel as per established guidelines. Responsible for managing HSE in contracts as per corporate guidelines. Responsible for providing O&M related inputs in all project related transmittals and for proper project turn-around at the time of hand-over.
Required Experience and Skills
- 10-12 years utility operation including at least 3 years in a supervisory position of a major Utility Department with complex control systems including DCS, PLC’s in a multiple industrial environment where the utilities are distributed on equitable basis.
- Strong working knowledge.
- Good level of spoken and written English.

University graduate in Engineering plus adequate knowledge in operations.
