Metrology Technician - Ireland, Westport - Initial 12-Month Contract - Life SciencesLocated near Westport, our global pharmaceutical client is seeking a Metrology Technician to support their state of the art manufacturing facility. The company focuses on investing in research and development to drive scientific innovation and deliver life changing medicines. With project worldwide and continued growth across their network, this is an excellent opportunity to support a leading organisation shaping the future of healthcare.What you’ll deliver:

To provide analytical support for moulded component batch release as and when required.To create and review Metrology reports as required in support of moulded component batch release and engineering study development.To maintain & troubleshoot measurement systems to ensure their continued optimum performance.Contentious improvement of metrology systems and processes for efficiency and customer satisfaction.To conduct statistical analysis on measurement results generated from the dimensional inspection of samples from moulding runs for new product introductions and replacement tools.

Experience required:

A minimum of an Ordinary Degree (Level 7) in Engineering or relateddiscipline is required.Extensive experience as a Metrology Technician or similar in combination products or a highly regulated industry.
