About the opportunity
In this role, you join QIAGEN’s Global Business Analytics team and drive digital transformation across the organization. You work hands-on with data, systems and stakeholders to build automated solutions, improve analytical capabilities and enable data-driven decision-making. You contribute directly to creating and optimizing BW models, ETLs, dashboards and advanced analytics while ensuring high standards of data quality and governance.
Your tasks include
- Managing automation projects end-to-end - from collecting business requirements, coordinating stakeholders, conducting data analysis to delivering advanced, scalable solutions.
- Creating, maintaining and optimizing dashboards to provide clear and actionable insights.
- Designing, developing and maintaining ETL processes to ensure reliable data flows.
- Monitoring system processes, chains, jobs and logs to maintain optimal system performance.
- Managing user roles, permissions and authorizations in line with data governance standards.
- Supporting Month-End Closing activities with timely and accurate data preparation.
Your profile
- A degree in Economics, Business Administration, Mathematics or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in business analysis or a similar data-focused position.
- Experience with ETL development and scripting for data integration and automation.
- Knowledge of Qlik Sense and/or SAP Analytics Cloud or Power BI is an advantage.
- SQL experience would be a plus.
- Very good command of English; German is an asset.
- Strong communication skills combined with a customer-oriented mindset.
