Who we are:

QServices is a software development company. We build custom .NET and Microsoft solutions, mostly for clients in the US and Canada. We also run a product company building AI agents for banks and financial institutions. Both are B2B. Our buyers are CTOs, engineering leaders, and founders, not walk-in customers.

Role overview:

We're rebuilding our SEO from the ground up, and we want it done right this time. That means moving past directory links, bookmarking, and neglected backlink profiles toward real, earned links. We've talked to people who sounded strong and turned out to have never personally earned a single link. We're done with that.

So we're hiring one person who does the work with their own hands. You'll own SEO end to end for both companies: strategy, on-page, technical, and the outreach that earns links. This is a hands-on individual contributor role, not a management seat.

Key metrics & details:

- Location: Mohali, India (in-house, on-site)

- Type: Full-time

- Experience: 3-6 years in SEO with real off-page and technical depth

- Brands you'll cover: Two. One B2B software services company, one B2B AI product company.

- Team structure: You are the SEO function. No link-building pod under you, no separate guest-post team.

- Tools we run: Ahrefs, Google Search Console, Google Analytics, WordPress

- How we'll measure you: Rankings for commercial keywords, quality backlinks earned, qualified organic leads, and a clean, healthy backlink profile. Not pageviews.

Key responsibilities:

- Clean up the profile- Audit toxic backlinks, build and file disavows in Google Search Console, keep the link profile healthy.

- Earn real links - Outreach to real publications and relevant sites, digital PR, guest posts on places that have actual readers. You send the emails. You do the follow-up. You close the link.

- On-page and technical- Audits, Core Web Vitals, schema, internal linking, search intent, indexing.

- Rank the content- Our content and design people produce the assets. You tell them what to target and why, then you make it rank.

- AI search / GEO - Get us mentioned when someone asks ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Google's AI to recommend a .NET company or an AI banking vendor.

- Report on what matters- Rankings and qualified leads, communicated clearly, backed by data.

Read this before you apply:

There is no link-building team here. There is no separate guest-post team. There is no junior below you. You are the person who does the outreach. If your current job splits SEO into pods where you do on-page while "another team handles backlinks," this role is not that. You'll be doing the backlinks yourself.

We are B2B software, not local SEO. If your wins are "repair near me," "service in [city]," Google Business Profile, and map-pack rankings, that skill doesn't carry over here. There's no "near me" for custom .NET development or AI banking agents. We need someone who knows how to rank and earn links for a B2B software company where the buyer is technical and the sales cycle is long.

1. Name three editorial backlinks you personally earned. Give the linking website, roughly when, and how you got it. "I did outreach" is not an answer. We want the actual sites and the actual story.

2. A B2B software site has 150+ spam PBN backlinks from an attack. Walk us through exactly what you'd do,step by step, including the tools.

3. We sell custom .NET development to CTOs in the US. There's no "near me." How would you build links and rank us? Give us the real plan, not the theory.
