Senior Test Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Manual Tester / QA Engineer with strong experience in the Banking Domain, particularly Corporate Loans and Loan Origination Systems (LOS). The candidate will be responsible for functional and end-to-end testing of lending applications, validating business requirements, identifying defects, performing database validations, and supporting successful releases.

The ideal candidate should have good hands-on knowledge of JIRA, Kibana, and MongoDB, along with a strong understanding of corporate lending and LOS workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Perform functional, system, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing for banking and lending applications.

Understand business requirements, functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

Prepare detailed test scenarios, test cases, test data, and test execution reports.

Test end-to-end Corporate Loan and Loan Origination System (LOS) workflows.

Validate key lending processes such as:

Customer/borrower onboarding

Loan application initiation

Credit assessment

Loan processing

Approval workflows

Sanctioning

Documentation

Disbursement

Validate application data against backend databases.

Perform data validation and troubleshooting using MongoDB.

Use Kibana for application log analysis, transaction tracing, and investigation of testing issues.

Log, track, and manage defects using JIRA.

Work closely with Business Analysts, developers, product teams, and other stakeholders for defect clarification and resolution.

Perform defect retesting and regression testing after fixes.

Participate in requirement analysis and identify gaps or potential testing risks at an early stage.

Support SIT/UAT and production-release validation activities as required.

Ensure business-critical corporate lending workflows are thoroughly validated before release.
