Data Engineer with Databricks and Power BI

Responsibilities

• Design, set up and pilot a Databricks application for managing and reserving capacities in substations.
• Develop new pages and functionalities within Power BI dashboards.
• Integrate and connect new data sources to existing Power BI reports.
• Further develop, stabilize and deploy a Databricks application based on an existing MVP.
• Automate interfaces and data integrations, including:
  • data transfers to EAM/SAP systems;
  • automated data correction and data quality processes.
  • Collaborate closely with business and technical stakeholders to align on requirements, implementation activities and intermediate results.

Requirements

• Several years of relevant professional experience, including hands-on experience in Databricks projects.
• Strong programming experience in a corporate or enterprise environment.
• Solid experience working with databases and data-driven applications.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of:
  • Databricks
  • SQL
  • Power BI
  • Python
  • Git
  • Basic knowledge of electrical engineering and an understanding of the structure and operation of substations is an advantage.
  • Previous experience with the client or familiarity with the client's environment is considered a plus.
  • Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken.
