We are seeking a FP&A Analyst Intern in our Broomfield, CO location.
As a Finance & FP&A Intern, you will work directly with Quantinuum's Finance team on projects that support financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and business decision-making.
This is not a shadowing role. You will contribute to real analysis used by finance leaders and business partners across the company. You'll gain exposure to budgeting, forecasting, headcount planning, financial reporting, and the economics of a rapidly growing technology company operating at the forefront of quantum computing.
The internship offers a unique opportunity to understand how finance supports strategy, operations, and growth while developing skills that apply across corporate finance, FP&A, and business analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning & Analysis: Support monthly forecasting, budgeting, and financial review activities while assisting with financial models, planning tools, and analysis of spending trends across the business.
- Reporting & Analytics: Prepare financial reports, dashboards, and presentations, analyze operational and financial performance metrics, and support ad hoc analyses to aid decision-making.
- Business Partnership Support: Collaborate with FP&A team members and business stakeholders to gather, validate, and analyze data, helping develop insights and recommendations that support organizational objectives.
- Process Improvement & Automation: Identify opportunities to enhance forecasting, reporting, and planning processes, assist with automation initiatives, and help maintain documentation, tools, and resources that improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Cross-Functional Finance Exposure: Gain hands-on experience across corporate finance functions while developing analytical, problem-solving, and business partnership skills in a fast-paced technology environment.
- Special Projects & Leadership Exposure: Participate in strategic finance initiatives and projects, with opportunities to present findings and recommendations to finance and business leaders.
YOU MUST HAVE:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Mathematics, Engineering, Data Analytics, or related fields. With an expected graduation date of 2027 or later.
