[Remote] AWS Cloud Architect / DevOps & Security Engineer

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Quebec Solution Inc is seeking a Senior AWS Cloud Architect / DevOps & Security Engineer to design, build, secure, automate, and manage enterprise AWS environments supporting mainframe migration to AWS. The role focuses on cloud architecture and networking, security, Terraform and CI/CD automation, production operations, and technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement AWS environments across DEV, TEST, UAT, PROD, and DR
• Develop secure, scalable, highly available, and cost-effective cloud architectures
• Design AWS networking solutions, including VPCs, subnets, routing, Cloud WAN, PrivateLink, Route 53, ALB/NLB, and hybrid connectivity
• Implement AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, MWAA, Cognito, and Systems Manager
• Implement IAM, KMS encryption, secrets management, cross-account access, and enterprise SSO integration with Microsoft Entra ID
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, AWS CLI, Python, PowerShell, and Bash
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with security scanning, policy validation, approval gates, and rollback procedures
• Implement monitoring and observability using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, AWS Config, and VPC Flow Logs
• Support production operations, incident management, root-cause analysis, disaster recovery, and cost optimization
• Provide technical leadership, architecture guidance, and mentorship to engineering teams

Skills

• 7+ years of experience in AWS Cloud Architecture, Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Cloud Security
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS architecture and infrastructure
• Expertise in AWS networking, VPC, IAM, KMS, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and Route 53
• Strong Terraform / Infrastructure as Code experience
• Experience with GitHub Actions or similar CI/CD platforms
• Strong knowledge of cloud security, encryption, hybrid connectivity, and secrets management
• Proficiency in AWS CLI, Linux, Python, PowerShell, and Bash
• Experience with production support, monitoring, incident response, and disaster recovery
• Excellent communication, troubleshooting, documentation, and technical leadership skills
• AWS Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer, Security Specialty, or Advanced Networking certification
• Experience with AWS Well-Architected Framework and large-scale cloud migrations
• Knowledge of MWAA/Airflow, RDS PostgreSQL, Cognito, AWS Network Firewall, Cloud WAN, Netskope, or Cloudera on AWS
• Experience Supporting Healthcare, Government, Or Other Regulated Environments
