Role Overview :
As a Junior Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in refining our core matching algorithms and extracting actionable insights from vast datasets to improve recruitment outcomes.
You will work closely with product managers and engineering teams to translate complex business requirements into robust data models. Your daily contributions will directly influence the precision of our AI-driven recommendations, ensuring that our platform continues to deliver high-quality candidate matches that drive business success for our clients.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and maintain scalable machine learning models to enhance the accuracy of candidate-job matching algorithms for our platform users.
- Conduct rigorous statistical analysis on recruitment data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process optimization.
- Clean, transform, and manage large-scale datasets using Pandas to ensure high data integrity for downstream modeling tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data-driven features that improve the overall user experience and platform performance.
- Execute complex SQL queries to extract insights from relational databases, supporting stakeholders in making informed, data-backed decisions.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated proficiency in Python for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and building machine learning pipelines.
- Strong foundation in statistical modeling and data analysis, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven experience in data modeling and database management using SQL to support large-scale analytical projects.
- Ability to thrive in a remote-first environment, maintaining high levels of self-motivation and clear communication with distributed team members.
- A minimum of 3 - 7 years of professional experience in data science or a related analytical role, showing a consistent track record of delivering impactful data solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on translating ambiguous business challenges into structured, technical solutions.
