About the Role

Department: Talent Acquisition

Location: London, EC4V 4AY

Hybrid: 3 days in office

We’re looking for a Senior Talent Acquisition Partner who wants to do much more than manage vacancies. Someone who loves the search, enjoys getting under the skin of a market, finding brilliant people who aren’t necessarily looking, understanding where talent is moving and spotting skills before they become difficult to find.

Someone who can walk into a conversation with a hiring leader and bring insight they didn’t already have. Alongside delivering recruitment brilliantly, you’ll look beyond the immediate vacancy, becoming the strategic and tactical talent partner our hiring communities need.

Our business is transforming, modernising and becoming increasingly customer-centric, while building on the expertise that supports hundreds of thousands of customers. Against a growing focus on financial literacy and access to financial advice, attracting the right skills and capabilities has an important role to play in our future.

You’ll combine strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, with a particular focus on supporting our Technology & Data hiring community, using your understanding of the external talent market to strengthen immediate hiring outcomes while building the talent pipelines and market knowledge we need for the future.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Delivering end-to-end recruitment, taking ownership of vacancies across your hiring communities within Technology, Data and Change, providing an excellent experience for candidates and hiring managers.
  • Leading complex and business-critical searches, using targeted sourcing strategies and proactive headhunting to identify and engage exceptional talent.
  • Building deep market intelligence, staying close to competitor activity, talent movement, emerging skills and external trends and bringing valuable insight back into the business.
  • Turning intelligence into action, helping hiring leaders understand talent availability and make informed decisions about skills, location, reward positioning and sourcing strategy.
  • Building talent communities and pipelines, developing relationships with relevant talent ahead of future demand and reducing reliance on reactive recruitment.
  • Acting as a trusted talent adviser, combining strong delivery with external perspective, commercial judgement and constructive challenge.
  • Using AI, automation and emerging technology to improve recruitment efficiency, insight and the experience we create for candidates and hiring managers.
  • Creating targeted attraction strategies and exceptional candidate experiences, strengthening how Quilter engages and competes for sought-after talent.

About You

You’ll bring significant experience recruiting across Technology, ideally within a complex organisation, with a strong track record of delivering end-to-end recruitment across specialist, technical and business-critical roles. You’ll understand how technology talent markets operate, be confident engaging hard-to-reach and passive talent, and know how to build credibility with senior technology leaders.

Just as importantly, you’ll bring the curiosity and commercial mindset to look beyond the vacancy in front of you.

You’re someone who:

  • Has strong experience recruiting across Technology and Data, with an understanding of talent markets spanning areas such as engineering, architecture, cloud, infrastructure, cyber, data and technology change.
  • Has an AI-first mindset and practical experience of using tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, Claude or similar technologies to improve Talent Acquisition workflows and optimise experience
  • Enjoys the craft of search and headhunting and knows how to identify and engage high-quality passive talent
  • Is commercially curious, with a genuine interest in markets, competitors, emerging skills and talent trends.
  • Can turn market intelligence and data into clear recommendations and practical action.
  • Builds credibility with senior leaders through expertise, insight and consistent delivery.
  • Is confident providing constructive challenge when market evidence suggests a different approach.
  • Thinks beyond today’s vacancy, identifying opportunities to build talent communities and pipelines for future demand.
  • Can operate strategically while remaining hands-on and accountable for delivery.
  • Is passionate about innovation and exploring better ways to attract, engage and hire talent.

If you’re motivated by delivering great recruitment today while building a deeper understanding of the talent we’ll need tomorrow, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

Help us find the people who will shape the future of wealth.
