Business Overview
The Marketing Division leads brand, creative, marketing, and membership as a cross-group organization with a mission to expand Rakuten Group's membership value and ecosystem of over 70 services.
We believe that the mobile domain is a platform that plays a fundamental role in the ecosystem, and as the Marketing Division, we are further promoting collaboration with Rakuten Mobile.
Department Overview
The Data Marketing Department utilizes data from across the Rakuten Group and AI to drive the growth of Rakuten Mobile’s new subscriber base and expand its market share within the web marketing domain.
The CRM Group is missioned with increasing the number of new Rakuten Mobile subscribers through digital marketing initiatives that leverage Rakuten’s data and AI.
We design and improve all online user touchpoints, including optimizing banner exposure on the Rakuten homepage and other Rakuten Group services, as well as executing CRM initiatives using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Furthermore, with the goal of maximizing the value of our marketing platforms, we act as a PMO, organizing functional improvement requests and defining requirements, regardless of the tool delivery model.

Position Details:
- Evaluating and operating external marketing tools.
- Promoting CRM initiatives utilizing MA (Marketing Automation) tools and CX platforms (Salesforce, KARTE, etc.).
- Promoting future planning and strategy development for marketing-related platforms.
- Coordinating requirements and schedules with the development department (participation in meetings in English and preparation of materials in English).
- Adjusting, negotiating, and managing projects with internal and external stakeholders.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of practical experience in Web marketing, or experience as an advertising sales representative or advertising consultant.
Desired Qualifications:
- Those who enjoy working as part of a team.
- Those who are proactive and can take initiative.
- Experience in promoting CRM initiatives using MA tools/CX platforms (Salesforce, KARTE, etc.).
- Business-level English proficiency.
- Knowledge of front-end development.
- Knowledge of system development (participation in development projects).

Additional information on English Qualification
- TOEIC score of 800 or higher.
- Since there are a certain number of meetings conducted in English, the candidate should be comfortable with speaking and listening.
