Senior Application Developer - REMOTE

Are you an experienced developer ready to guide a major portal modernization effort? We are seeking a Full Stack Developer for an initial 6-month contract with our Edmonton client. This role focuses on transitioning legacy Adxstudio portal infrastructure to modern Microsoft Power Pages utilizing Dataverse. If you have extensive experience in code translation and system optimization using AI tools, this remote opportunity is an excellent way to make a significant impact on enterprise digital transformation.

Responsibilities
• Analyze legacy Adxstudio portal architecture to identify custom configurations and deliver solution design artifacts.
• Translate legacy .NET and C# business logic into Liquid Web Templates using Microsoft Copilot and other AI development tools.
• Recreate Entity Forms and Lists into modern Power Pages Multistep Forms to optimize field validation scripts.
• Migrate standard model data to the Enhanced Data Model using Power Platform CLI and Dataverse migration tools.
• Map legacy security roles to Dataverse Table Permissions and Web Roles to maintain system security.
• Ensure external integrations including payment processing and authentication frameworks function smoothly across the new platform.
• Perform user acceptance testing and debug migration errors via AI diagnostic workflows to support successful launch activities.

Qualifications
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field of study.
• Three years of proven experience developing and migrating Adxstudio Portals to modern Microsoft Power Pages platforms.
• Three years of practical background migrating standard portal data models to the Enhanced Data Model.
• One year of demonstrated experience using Microsoft Copilot for Liquid translation and code conversion.
• Active Microsoft Certified Power Platform Developer Associate certification or similar professional credentials.
