Our client, a best-practice-oriented SaaS company and a leader in their space is looking for an Intermediate Software Engineer - Python or Go, Data, Hybrid to join their growing team. The successful Intermediate Software Engineer - Python or Go, Data, Hybrid candidate will have experience designing, developing, and maintaining backend services that support reporting, analytics, data export, and data-driven product features.

This is a fulltime permanent position and hybrid in Toronto, 2 days per week onsite.

Responsibilities
he successful Intermediate Software Engineer - Python or Go, Data, Hybrid candidate will have experience designing, developing, and maintaining backend services that support reporting, analytics, data export, and data-driven product features.

Qualifications
Must-Have Qualifications:

Backend or Backend focused Full Stack Development - 5-7Y+
Building data-driven features like data export and insights - 2-3Y+
Dimensional data modeling, data transformation, and data visualization best practices - 2-3Y+
Python or Go or several other BE languages (which ones?) - 3-5Y+
Cloud platforms (which ones?) - 3-5Y+
Cloud-based Data warehousing (which ones?) - 3-5Y+
Knowledge of data privacy, security, and governance best practices - 2-3Y+
Data serialization formats like JSON, CSV - 2-3Y+
MySQL - 5Y+
PostgreSQL - 3-5Y+
Design Patterns (which ones?) - 3-5Y+
Microservices - 3-5Y+
Excellent written and verbal communication skills -5-7Y+
Collaborative and team player approach - 5-7Y+
Bachelor or Master’s degree in computer science or related field - 3-4Y+
