Riser - Technical Engineer

• Conducts technical site surveys and assessments for proposed EV charging locations to validate electrical capacity, infrastructure requirements, charger placement, and site readiness.
• Develops and reviews technical designs, single-line diagrams, load calculations, equipment specifications, and bills of quantities to ensure compliant and cost-effective charging infrastructure.
• Coordinates charger installation, testing, commissioning, and handover with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to achieve safe, timely, and high-quality station deployment.
• Monitors deployed charging stations and supports troubleshooting of electrical, communication, charger, and backend-related technical issues to maximize station uptime and customer experience.
• Manages technical coordination with charger manufacturers and technology partners to resolve technical issues, implement firmware/configuration updates, and maintain alignment with approved equipment standards.
• Inspects installation and commissioning activities against approved designs, safety requirements, and quality standards to ensure reliable and compliant operation of charging stations.
• Maintains technical documentation, as-built drawings, commissioning records, asset data, and maintenance requirements to establish accurate engineering records for the Electra network.
• Provides technical input to commercial and business development teams on charger selection, site feasibility, technical proposals, CAPEX requirements, and customer specific EV charging solutions.

Education & Background
