Physical Implementation Engineer - DFT

Responsibilities and Opportunities

• Logic/IP Scan: Scan (compressor) insertion & DFT simulation, SoC DFT Planning
• BIST: Logic BIST and BIRA/BIST insertion & simulation
• Package-level test planning
• DFD: Scan-dump & scan to dram logic implementation
• DFT-related support from synthesis to production
• Propose architectural and implementation recipe changes to enhance test/fault coverages
• Support DSPs and/or contractors to meet TAT while ensuring high-quality results

Key Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience
• Minimum of 8-year experience with EDA tool workflows in the semiconductor industry
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Tcl, Perl, or Python) for workflow automation and data visualization
• Extensive experience in physical design processes and tools for automating RTL to GDS workflows
• A high understanding of advanced package (e.g., 2.5D, 3D, and chiplet)
• Experience leading one or more aspects of physical implementation
• Experience in extraction of design parameters, summarizing Quality of Results (QoR), and analyzing trends to improve QoR
