Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs.
  • Develop production-grade applications using Python.
  • Work on backend architecture, system design, databases, and integrations.
  • Build new features and products from 0 to 1
  • Collaborate closely with founders, product, and engineering teams.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
  • Debug performance and production issues and continuously improve system reliability.
  • Take end-to-end ownership of features from design and development to deployment.
  • Contribute to technical decisions and help shape the engineering culture as an early team member.

Requirements:

  • 2-4 years of backend engineering experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Python.
  • Experience building REST APIs / backend services.
  • Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
  • Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL / MySQL / MongoDB.
  • Understanding of cloud platforms, Docker, CI/CD, and deployment.
  • Good understanding of scalable and reliable backend systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership.
