Experienced Boutique Sales Assistant - Wellness at Cashel Palace Hotel

Within Wellness at Cashel Palace, The Boutique is an important part of the five-star experience we create every day. From the moment our guests arrive, through their Spa and Wellness experiences and time spent exploring the hotel, every interaction should feel beautifully considered, personal and seamless.

We are now looking for an Experienced Boutique Sales Assistant to join our Wellness team and help us continue to evolve The Boutique as an integral part of the Cashel Palace guest experience.

Our Boutique brings together a carefully curated collection of luxury beauty, wellness, fashion, lifestyle and gifting brands, including Bamford and Westman Atelier. We are looking for someone with a genuine passion for beautiful products and exceptional service, but importantly, someone who loves people and knows how to sell.

The Role

This is more than a traditional retail role.

You will create a warm, polished and personalised experience for every guest who visits The Boutique. You’ll take time to understand what they are looking for, share the stories behind our products and confidently make recommendations that feel thoughtful rather than transactional.

You will play an active role in driving Boutique sales, building relationships with our guests and identifying opportunities to introduce products, gifting and experiences that genuinely complement their visit.

As part of the wider Wellness team, you’ll also help connect The Boutique with The Spa, our Wellness experiences, Recharge and the wider hotel.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Creating a warm, engaging and highly personalised experience for every guest
• Proactively engaging with guests, understanding their needs and confidently turning conversations into sales
• Developing exceptional knowledge of our brands and products and bringing their stories to life
• Building relationships with returning, local and resident guests and supporting a more personalised approach to clientele
• Driving sales through thoughtful recommendation, cross-selling and gifting opportunities
• Maintaining beautiful merchandising, presentation and five-star Boutique standards throughout the day
• Supporting new product launches, brand activations, Wellness events and seasonal campaigns
• Processing transactions accurately and supporting stock, deliveries, replenishment and stock movements
• Understanding what is selling, what guests are asking for and where commercial opportunities may exist
• Working collaboratively across The Spa, Wellness, Recharge and the wider hotel to create a seamless guest journey

What We’re Looking For

You’ll ideally have previous experience within premium or luxury retail, beauty, fashion, lifestyle, hospitality or another high-touch sales environment.

More importantly, you’ll be someone who is naturally warm, confident and curious about people. You understand that great luxury selling is not about pressure - it is about listening, building trust, knowing your product and making the right recommendation at the right moment.

You’ll also bring:

• Demonstrable experience of engaging customers and confidently closing sales
• A genuine interest in luxury, wellness, beauty, fashion, lifestyle and gifting
• Strong commercial awareness and an interest in sales performance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and pride in presentation
• Confidence using retail/POS systems and maintaining accurate records
• Initiative, reliability and the ability to work independently while remaining part of a wider team
• Flexibility to work across our seven-day operation, including weekends and public holidays as rostered
