The coordinator works for the Global Sales team. The key objective of this role is to assist the sales team in their mission to promote Relais & Châteaux member hotels to the travel trade and ensure that the member hotels receive maximum benefit from the global sales effort.

The coordinator works remotely, ideally in the Eastern Time Zone of the USA.

Sale Team support

  • Assist the North American sales team to grow revenue and maximize market share from the travel community for Relais & Châteaux member hotels
  • Assist in planning and execution of various events, showcases, sales blitzes, missions, conferences, and FAM trips that involve the North American sales team and possibly other markets. This will include, but not be limited to venue selection, printing (badges and signage) and onsite assistance when necessary
  • Work with International director, North America and regional sales managers and possibly other markets on analysis of reports pertaining to revenue production
  • Assist North American sales managers with clients when they are attending sales events or on holidays and are out of office
  • Assist Global and International Sales Directors with key account management tasks, specifically American Express and Chase Travel
  • Work closely with Paris accounting on tracking payments by members for events
  • Assist the International Director and Global Director in all aspects of administrative and organizational tasks along with Sales B2B Coordinator in Paris
  • Assist sales team with commission inquiries from travel agencies in the US and in Canada.
  • Assist North American sales managers with updating CRM and managing events in Eventmaker for tracking and reporting purposes
  • Assist North American sales managers with updating preferred partner program list of participating members and work with SynXis team to assure compliance by member hotels that have committed to the program
  • Assist VIP agencies in North America with confirming Relais & Châteaux member hotels through R&C central reservations/SynXis while working closely with the reservations team
  • Build effective working relationships with the Relais & Châteaux member hotels and restaurants, and Relais & Châteaux teams at HQ through verbal and written means
  • We are seeking an experienced professional with a proven track record in coordination, executive support, or a similar administrative role
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are critical to success in this role
  • Experience in the Luxury hospitality industry preferred
  • The role requires a high level of professionalism, diplomacy, and interpersonal skills when interacting with our member properties and key stakeholders
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Self-motivator with the ability to work independently and as a team player
  • Fluency in English required, plus preference for second language fluency (ideally French and/or Spanish)
  • Excellent working knowledge of both PowerPoint and Excel for presentations and reporting.
