RELX is a British information and analytics group formed in 1993 through the merger of Reed International and the Dutch publisher Elsevier, and it has since converted a print publishing business into a subscription data company. It operates four divisions: Elsevier in scientific and medical research, risk analytics covering insurance and financial crime screening, legal information through LexisNexis, and the exhibitions business RX. Headquartered in London and listed in London, Amsterdam and New York, it derives the large majority of revenue from electronic products and analytics rather than print.

  • Working knowledge of security and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, PCI and Cyber Essentials, with experience supporting assessments or audits.
  • Strong understanding of security governance and controls, vulnerability management, monitoring and alerting, and system, security and software development life cycles.
  • Experience managing customer security enquiries, due diligence questionnaires, audits, assessments, evidence requests and remediation or follow-up activities.
  • Strong project management, organisational, prioritisation, problem-solving and change management skills, with the ability to coordinate work across multiple teams.
