About the Role:

We're hiring a Product Manager to join Remitly's Finance Platform team in Krakow. You'll own the product behind the financial infrastructure that keeps Remitly's books accurate, supports expansion into new products and markets, and meets the controls expected of a public company.

Remitly's Reconciliation platform is undergoing a full rebuild - replacing legacy reconciliation services with a scalable, configurable platform that will underpin our ability to close the books across all products. As the PM for this platform, you'll own end-to-end delivery across partner data ingestion, transaction matching, settlement orchestration, data correction service (amendments), and the operational tooling used by the operators of our platform. You'll partner across Finance, Recon Ops, and engineering teams - spanning multiple platforms and stakeholder groups - to turn operational complexity into scalable, reliable product solutions.

You Will:

• Own the product backlog for your platform, developing clear requirements and acceptance criteria, and leading cross-functional execution with engineering to deliver reliable, on-time outcomes

• Translate complex requirements from Finance stakeholders into well-scoped user stories and product solutions

• Leverage AI tooling to improve platform configurability and accelerate adoption of new use cases, with sound judgment about where automation is appropriate vs. where controls require human oversight

• Identify and drive automation of manual workflows, reducing operational burden and improving platform scalability

• Partner with Engineering on tradeoffs between rapid iteration and foundational investments that build a sustainable, high-control platform

• Define success metrics for your initiatives and communicate progress transparently to senior stakeholders

You Have:

• AI fluency: demonstrated ability to identify where AI/ML drives genuine impact in operational or financial workflows, and the judgment to know where automation introduces unacceptable risk. Practical experience scoping and shipping AI-powered product features with engineering teams.

• PM fundamentals: 3-5 years product management experience partnering with engineering teams, or equivalent experience with demonstrated product proficiency. Proven ability to independently manage a backlog, write clear requirements and acceptance criteria, drive sprint execution, and deliver on time.

• Data and analytical skills: strong data skills with hands-on experience in tools such as SQL, BI tools (e.g. Tableau), or Python. Comfortable working in data-heavy environments and able to connect data needs to business outcomes.

Nice to have:

• Finance or fintech experience: prior experience in a Finance or fintech context, or demonstrated ability to speak the language of Finance. Comfort operating in high-accuracy, audit-sensitive environments. Exposure to financial close cycles, SOX compliance, or regulatory-adjacent products.

• Reconciliation domain background: familiarity or hands-on experience with finance platform services such as ledger, subledger, or reconciliation systems.

• Data engineering or pipeline experience: experience working with data ingestion, normalization, or ETL pipelines, and comfort with data pipeline architecture discussions.

Compensation Details. The starting annual base salary range for this position is typically zł 200,000 - zł 225,000. In Poland, Remitly employees are shareholders (RSUs) in our Company and equity is part of our total compensation plan.
